Icons- Cold Catch

Working at Grover Gaming, Projects come and go very quickly and we don't often find ourselves doing the same thing in every project. Two projects after Phantom Fair, I found myself making Icons once more, this time for Cold Catch, a reskin of a previous project with a similar fishing theme.

All Icons 3D modeling done by me, with the exception of the fish, whose models and textures were provided by Jeremy Vïcentïna.

All models used a combination of Maya for both Blocking out/Rendering, Zbrush for detail work, Marmoset Toolbag for Baking, and Substance Painter for Texturing and the creation of Smart Materials for the ice, which I made myself. Everything was brought together in Photoshop.

Base for Bar and Bell Symbols provided by Amanda Freeman.

COLD CATCH Logo used for the Icon made by Jeremy Vïcentïna.

Art lead was Liznel Piña,

The Star in Substance. Here you can see the ice Smart Material I made which was then applied to all other objects that used Ice in some manner.

The Boot in Substance. As it was not rendered in real time, we payed little mind for texture space so long as everything looked correct.
